I hope I never am in a combat situation.

I don't think I would panic, I wouldn't enjoy it either

For what it's worth, nobody thinks they'd panic. It's pretty fucking stressful.

After all that, I'm convinced there are two kinds of former-Marines that saw combat. There are those who have PTSD and there are those who fool themselves. LOL

Me? The closest I came was firing suppressive fire. I tell myself that I didn't hit anyone. At the same time, it's not something I talk about. I have talked about it. I just don't care to. For better or worse, I am home, safe, warm, and well fed. Gotta love that.

I was just thinking like when I was downstairs from Verles house and the place caught fire. I didn't panic. I just calmly gathered up all the guitars and got out of there. LoL

I'm not one who panics. Some folks run away when they hear gun fire. I run towards it.

Then I will run away, if need be. LOL I ain't Rambo. 'Snot like I'm gonna go take on an armed gunman, but I'm gonna confirm the state of affairs before I go making my exit.
