You think so? He seemed pretty damned proud of himself in a lot of statements and in court video. He seemed remorseful when he was sentenced but I think that might have been 'cause he got caught - not that he gave a shit about his victims. He looked pretty damned smug otherwise.

I think he was ashamed of his homosexuality. As I recall, that shame was kinda why he did what he did - that and he wanted the relationships to last longer but to be in control. He was a pretty fucked up individual.

At the same time, one of the reasons he killed them was 'cause he wanted the relationship to last longer.

So, in his twisted mind, I suspect he just wanted the same things we want - someone to love you, someone to be there in the morning, and someone to cuddle with at night.

He was just REALLY fucking crazy and you don't get long-term relationships out of homeless transients who are gay for pay or confused young boys who just wanted a warm meal and a place to crash for a few days.

I am kinda fascinated by weirdos and serial killers.
