It's handy for when I'm out and someone wants me to play their guitar, or if I'm not in the music room and need a quick tuning. I kinda envy the folks with perfect pitch. I've tried learning perfect pitch, as it's a learnable skill, but I've never found a method that wasn't completely fucking boring.

I am installing it on the phone now. I will test it with the acoustic guitar as soon as it loads

It's a solid choice. I've tried a bunch of them. Martin used to have an app, but it has gone missing. You can find apk versions, but I'd not sideload them.
