I've never seen snow in August. That would be crazy

I'm at a higher elevation. Shit, they get snow on Mt. Washington during summer - like sometimes they'll get snow in July - and they're not even a very tall mountain. I guess we can too, but I've never seen it. We're also above the meridian, the 45th latitude.

The only mountain I know of around here is 90 miles away and that doesn't get any early snow at the top

Yeah, I'm in the mountains. I'm about 2600' above sea level. If you go out back and keep walking up, you'll get to about 3000' above sea level.
