I'm gonna suggest not doing that.

The good news is you'd probably not get charged and punished to the fullest extent of the law - provided you maintained that you're mentally ill. They're gonna believe a mental illness claim - which won't get you off, but you'll likely walk away with probation and mandatory counseling.
