Thanks. If you go back to my first comment, I thought there was an old tie - but I wasn't sure about it.

I think this car may be tangentially related to the Daimler that is Daimler/Benz.

That explains it.

It's a pretty neat looking car. It's friendly name is 'angry catfish'. There's a bit of a cult following/collector market.

I'm not even sure if I got a good deal on it, but it's in spectacular condition. I paid $42k + fees for it. I have no idea if that's a good price and there aren't many in the US to compare it to, I don't believe. I just liked it and liked that it was unique. If it's worth more, I really don't care. I'm very unlikely to sell it - unless someone offers me 'stupid' money.

Ain't gotta clue. I haven't even made an effort to look up the value.

And, yeah, I think I'm out of Google's penalty box. My traffic has returned to normal and is getting better. I'm even back to getting data limit warnings from my CDN provider!

Seems like a great deal to me. As long as you're happy, thats all that matters. I will be interested to hear how it drives and handles. I came with 4 wheel disk brakes so those should work!
