It wasnt so bad when my bike was working

Yeah, I could see that.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn the bike started right up if you first tried a hot wire to the pump and then replacing the wiring to the pump at a later date.

As for the car, you're gonna have to spend the money I'm afraid. It has been about a year and nobody has shown up with the part to just give it to you. I'm afraid fate gave you a chance to work, and not a chance happening that just gave you the part.

That's good, because nobody did. It's gonna be cold again soon, so you might wanna get to it soon - or plan on just riding with your son and hoping his car doesn't break down.
