yeah it is repairable. this one looks to be one of those pain in the ass to replace

Hmm... You could probably take it to a shop and spend like an extra fifty bucks - and if they break it further they've gotta replace it.

I am a bit curious... Is the touchpad and keyboard all a part of a single unit?
