Well, I've had 15 years to work on protecting myself from leeches. Given the way I run the rest of my life, it's a pretty safe bet that I'd be good at it by now! ;-)

I can afford a $20 "donation" to any cause I want. I think of it as donating money to the less fortunate - while weeding out those who deserve to be less fortunate.
