Oh, I don't chase my money. I wait. I'll see 'em again - probably with their friends or family.

I let them know all this ahead of time. There's my mystery about it. They made the choice to steal $20 from me. They can deal with the results.

Well if you have not seen nor heard from them in a while they might be in jail and simply be unable to get to you. Like this kid friend of my kids he borrowed $20 and said he would pay me back on Friday. Friday came and went, no sign of him, Saturday, nothing. My woman says I wonder if he is in jail, and so I look at the jail roster online and sure enough. Locked up until December at least

If that's the case, they'll tell me. Then they'll set up a new date to pay me. It's pretty straightforward.

"Hey, I was in jail. Imma get you next week."

S'not hard.

Well they should, they probably would if they plan to repay you
