I fucking hope so. If it's like this forever, I'm just gonna go back to smoking. Ain't no way I can deal with these cravings for the rest of my life.

Fortunately, that's unlikely. I'm pretty sure it'll get easier.

Well, it has gotten easier. Like I said, just not as easy as I expected.

Friends I have known to have quit have told me that it takes anywhere from six months to a year for the cravings to really go away

Yeah, I've heard a whole variety of when the cravings will go away completely. I am glad for the Chantix. They reduce the cravings a great deal. I don't think I'm supposed to stay on them for all that long, like three months at the most. I start my 4th month shortly. I'm tempted to cut them in half and wean down off them.
