Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

That was pretty cool of them! I'm like that. If I have time, even if I don't have time, I'll stop and help a stranded motorist to the best of my ability. I've given 'em rides to the parts store and back to their car and shit like that. I have a whole box of tools in my plow truck and will even pull you out of the ditch when you screwed up in the snow or ice.

I don't suppose you ran out of gas? Gas is also corrosive as all fuck. It'll happily soften the rubber covering wires - and do so quicker than you might think. So, you can check that - check where the gas was spilling onto the harness - look and feel for shorts. Other than that, check the three biggies - fuel, air, spark. You gotta have all three of those.

Also, I'm driving a million dollar car today and some dude actually tried to argue with me - telling me that I was driving the new C8 Corvette...

Yeah, like I don't know what car I'm driving. Also, I could buy like 15 Corvettes for the price I paid for this one.

I had no vehicular problems, thankfully. I can imagine that you're pretty frustrated - and rightfully so.

There seems to be a little bit of gas in the tank, i can hear it splashing around and there was fuel in the carburetor so i think its getting gas. I have the air filter off of the carb so theres a big hole going in so I imagine there is air. It was running fine up until it wasnt. I am not sure what would cause a lack of spark. I reseated the plug cables

Well, I suppose you could check for spark - unplug the wires, put 'em next to something metal, turn it over and look for sparking...

Those are the three big things to check. Knowing you, you've driven with just a splash of fuel in the tank before - so it's unlikely that you'll have a fuel pressure issue.

I wonder what could have been knocked loose?

I was not on the reserve tank when I hit the bump that cause the issues to appear. I switched to reserve when the issue first appeared and there was gas in the carb

I just tried some starting fluid in it and it didnt do anything
