Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

Hello and welcome to another FNGT! Like normal, we'll go ahead and get you started...

I did some recording in my spare time, but haven't had time to finish it and Biff hasn't even started on her parts. We've actually been a bit busy this week. It has also been raging hot, hot enough for my house to heat up even with the best practices.

So, here...

Counting Crows - Accidentally In Love!.mp3 (share.fngt.gq)

I think that's the 2nd time we've shared this one. So, it shouldn't be that fresh in your memory. I just had to upload it to this site, 'cause it wasn't already there - leading me to think it has been a while since it was last shared.

Rock on, Poalr Bears! Rock on!

Great job! That's such a fun-time bubble-gum song---perfect for Friday.

[–] 0 pt

Thanks! I believe it was in a Shrek movie, though I've never seen said movie. Someone mentioned something about it when we first shared it.

Our 5 year anniversary is approaching. Might wanna do something special for it? I dunno... We probably will think of something, but we haven't actually discussed anything yet.

[–] 2 pts

When's the anniversary?

[–] 1 pt

Hello @TheBuddha That's sounds so awesome. 👏

[–] 1 pt

Glad ya liked it! I assume you're holding up okay?

[–] 1 pt

Yes I am thank you, and I hope all is well with you.

The singer of the Counting Crows was the college room mate of the famous quarterback of the football team me and my kids root for!

[–] 0 pt

He's kinda a weirdo, but I didn't know that about him.

[–] 0 pt

I don't know much about him besides that

One of these days I’m gonna record a thing… but it is not this day.

[–] 1 pt

It will not be that day until you do.

So, when you do, we will be here. Well, probably... Next month it'll mark our 5 year anniversary. We've been at this for a long, long time.

'Sup fellers and felines. The bass of this song is so good that I just had to play it. It's really the best part of the song. But it's still a good campfire song even without the bass.

With a Little Help From My Friends (soundcloud.com)

Very nice...Ringo was the best Beatle.

[–] 0 pt

Great choice and great job.

Indeed, it's a great campfire song.

Sadly, I haven't had a single bonfire this year. Not one...

I should just build one tomorrow night, invite a few people, and see how many folks show up.

Beatles got some songs. That one, the bass is so infectious. Guess McCartney knows something.

[–] 0 pt

Well, given the longevity of his career, I'm gonna guess he knows a thing or two. Hell, I'm pretty sure he's even knighted.

Can I play the niececock?

[–] 2 pts

I have no idea. Can you?

Ha! I crack me up!

You can play and submit anything musical you want. I ain't even kidding about how very low our standards are!

Hi guys, I recorded a song to my phone today. And here it is.

Garden (soundcloud.com)

[–] 1 pt

Sounds great for a phone recording. I dont recognize the song. Is that original?

[–] 1 pt

Thanks, Crazy. Yeah, I wrote it about a new love.

[–] 1 pt

Does that have anything to do with the apology you played last week?

[–] 1 pt

Sweet! I did some recording, but finished nothing. 'Snot all my fault!

[–] 1 pt

I would never join a club that would have me as a member

Hey there people! I'm a little late cause shit keeps happening. Anyways, here is a song for you all to listen to. Dylan's Don't Think Twice (soundcloud.com)

[–] 1 pt

You captured the feel pretty good. I dug it.

[–] 1 pt

Great job. You're trending with Dylan now?

[–] 0 pt

That's my favorite 'break up' song. However, everyone has done a better job at it than Dylan. Check out Peter Paul and Mary's version, for example.

And, it's okay - I got the thread. I was ready to get it anyhow.

[–] 1 pt

I like the Johnny Cash version best

[–] 1 pt

Oops... That message was for someone else. Still, Cash's version is pretty awesome.

[–] 0 pt

Cash's version is pretty good.

And having weed when you had none is a good thing.

[–] 0 pt

I really like this version we did. One of my favorites Chris and I have done

[–] 0 pt

It sounded okay to me.
