**** INTRO ****

Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

Ex drinkers are assholes more than ex smokers in my experience

Yeah, I think you're right with that one.

But, not by much... Also, I think some of the worst ex-drinkers are the ones that went through AA.

But, yeah... I'm pretty sure you're right with that.

But you're not planning on becoming an ex drinker any time soon I hope

When we first met, I was a non-drinker. Well, I drank a few times a year at best. That's 'cause I was once a very heavy drinker. So, I quit drinking for quite a while - years in fact. Finally, I would drink here and there - at holidays and never more than two. Then, it was never more than 3...

Finally, I realized that I had actually made the changes I needed to make to be able to control my drinking. I hardly ever drink to excess, even if I have a glass of wine or three. I barely get tipsy at 2 glasses of wine and 3 is just a nice buzz.

So, I won't quit drinking unless I stop being able to maintain this current level of drinking. If I start drinking too much/too often, I'll quit again.

But, when you met me, I was pretty much a non-drinker.

So, you probably don't have to worry about me being a hypocritical ex-drinker. I'm pretty sure I wasn't one when you met me.

Hell, I'd have my 4th of July festival and only drink a few alcoholic beverages for the entire thing - I was completely alcohol-free for some of 'em. (Note, I didn't say "sober". I said "alcohol-free". There's a difference!)
