LOL I don't know if I'd even give those away. That does explain why your strings never sound bright and clear!

I can't do that whole cheap string thing. I can do the cheap thing, but not with strings. They're pretty much the most important part of tone.

Man, I don't know if strings are the most important part of the tone, they age, they break, they get replaced. I would think the pickups and the speakers the sound comes out of are just as important!

None of those things work without strings - and they work better with good strings.

Well maybe when I run out of these strings I will try some 'better' ones and see if they make a difference in the sound. I bought 4 of those 5 packs so it might be a while
