Yeah, it's really about avoiding the low-end stuff in the case of cables. Otherwise, you'll hear a huge difference.

Cheap(est) is usually not great. Middle of the road stuff is often awesome, with great results.

Well I got them for free so in this case the cheapest is the best LoL

I suppose I could add "under normal circumstances".

I have cables that are a hundred bucks for like 20' - and they're not much better than cords for half that price.

I did look up the price for the snake cable he brought over and its like a grand for a new one.
