Well it is and was an appreciated gift. I use it almost daily and it does just what it is supposed to do. I probably would not use it for a show, I would use cables and bring spares just in case.

I use wireless at shows. Mine's not a few dollars, however. It's a few thousand dollars.

Yeah I am sure, and you even have back ups for those

Indeed. We have backups of everything you see us using - and then some. Nothing critical has just one - though sometimes the backups aren't as great. Like if sound went down, we still have another mixing board on the truck - but it's older and doesn't have nearly the same features.
