Whelp... I guess the secret it out... It was probably already out, but now I know it is.

This afternoon, I had a Porsche 911 in my driveway. It was not in great condition and it was owned by a kid in his 20s - who'd saved up all his money for years just to buy a 911. So, he was pretty happy with it, though you could tell it had been used and abused, ridden hard and put away wet.

Anyhow, he was here hoping to get a look at the "Porsche collection."

I do not have a Porsche collection - but my collection contains a couple dozen Porsche examples.

I told 'em that my collection isn't open to the public and that I don't do tours - but then we walked through my collection 'cause I can understand being in my 20s and buying a shitty Porsche because I wanted a Porsche experience.

I told 'em not to invite others to take up my time and sent 'em merrily on their way after answering a few Porsche questions for them.

Nah... I really don't mind - if I have nothing better going on. The dude drove all the way up from Auburn and then asked directions from various people in the village to find the place. That's about a 2 hour drive - just to get to Rangeley. He heard of the place on Facebook where someone has been posting pictures to a car enthusiast group.

I have no idea who has been taking/sharing the pictures. Lots of people take pictures. I'd really rather they not share them.

Hopefully he's not a thief or working for thieves trying to case the place
