Honestly I did not even know I was in Maine until I looked at the location on the warning ticket he gave me!

I don't think I've been there. If I had been, I'd have noticed. I'd have been, "Hey, look, we're in Maine!"

I tend to look for the little signs that tell you what town and/or county you're in. So, I'd have noticed it - or noticed it on the map when figuring out where to go next or where I'd been the day before.
