Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I'm actually a pretty firm believer in that whole red line thing.

I have 'mechanical empathy'.

I tend to keep it below the red line.

Now, if I was racing for points/money/a car that didn't belong to me.... Well, I might be inclined to push it at the end of the race - but I'm a big fan of the racing adage...

If you want to finish first, you have to first finish.

But, I'd likely push it here and there - if I was racing for points or a series or similar... I'm not gonna push it all that much in my own cars. They call 'em limits for a reason, that's my thinking.

That is wise thinking. Like the Chinese art of Motorcycle Maintenance

Pirsig. Robert Pirsig...

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

It has since been copied a zillion times over, with other 'zen and then art of _____' books.

It's a good book. The name has been bastardized something fierce.

Oh damn, I got the title wrong. It has been at least 40 years since I saw that book
