I could see me pulling friends' cars out of said hole with some regularity.

I found out I have no chain or tow strap or rope or anything to pull them out with this morning

I have all sorts of stuff to pull people out of ditches in my plow truck and in my Volvo. I'm pretty sure I tossed a strap into the Defender as well.
