Usually we hand out invites to people who have a history of participating in the threads. For fairly obvious reasons, we're pretty strict.

I checked the archives for your username and am not seeing it anywhere.

No sweat I understand. Gotta keep the Riff Raff out. I don't post much at all I use the site as a news aggregator mostly. But as a musician the thread looked like fun. Best of luck with it

After all, the forum isn't used for much - other than the archives. It started off pretty active, but the activity dwindled and now it's just a place I use to send announcements and for the archives. Lately, @crazy has done the archives for us. (Thankfully.)
