For the record, quitting smoking sucks - even with Chantix.

I am pretty sure quitting smoking sucks as much as smoking does.

The retarded thing is I didn't really start smoking until I was very much an adult - and I knew the dangers. I wasn't some kid convinced to smoke because they advertised cigarettes directly to children (which they sure as fuck did do). I was a goddamned adult that understood the risks when I started smoking.

i hate to sound like a cliche, but I wish I'd never started. I regret making that choice.

Hmm... I don't have a whole lot of regrets. If someone asked me about my regrets, I'd probably forget to include this one and say that I don't really have (m)any regrets.

But, I do regret picking up cigarettes.

Oddly, I don't really regret doing any other drugs. I do regret the nicotine.

When I was in jail for six months years ago, the first thing I wanted to do when I got out was have a cigarette. That craving is persistent.
