I am optimistic. The last time I was on it, I was down to three cigarettes per day at the end of the first month. That's when they took it off the market.

Three a day is not many at all. You couldn't stop after that few?

Nope. I couldn't get rid of those last three. To be fair, I didn't really try all that hard at that point.

It also didn't help that I was pretty pissed and annoyed about the whole thing. They recalled Chantix 'cause it contained an ingredient that had a trivial chance of causing cancer - where smoking has like a 100% chance of causing cancer. That's fuckin' retarded.

So, after that I was no longer of the right mentality to quit. I just said fuck it, more or less, and decided I'd wait until they put it back on the market.
