Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

At some sites, yes. I do so to support the site.

If I frequent the site on a regular basis, I'll often whitelist the site and let the site show ads. I'll then click when I see something interesting - though most of the time my eyes just glaze over and I don't even notice the ads. It's like a mental ad-block extension - except I do in fact notice some and click them.

I know what it's like to put tons of hours into a site with little reward. So, if I like the site (and use it often) it'll get whitelisted.

Hell, as a moderator of linux.org (a pretty prestigious position) I'm not supposed to see ads. However, I have them enabled and click 'em fairly consistently.

It's the right thing to do. Supporting sites is important to keep good content online.

I also regularly donate/buy swag from sites I frequent.

LOL Thanks!

And, yeah... I support the services I use. I'm even a Reddit Gold member, but I seldom have time to use the site. Shit, I haven't used Slashdot in years and I still pay 'em like ten bucks a year.

Good content ain't free. Someone's paying for it.
