Yeah, that's a bit excessive. You're not an alcoholic at 19, you just have shitty behavior and refuse to control yourself.

Come see me when you're in your 40s and can't get out of bed without a drink... Come see me when you've done rehab a half dozen times and tried the anabuse (I think that's how you spell it) treatment. Come see me when you've been fired a dozen times for drinking.

Then, maybe I'll consider you an alcoholic.

At 19, you're barely able to grow a beard. Man up and get a job.
