I mostly do not want to end up locked in a cage while I am tripping, and I figure driving is one of the easiest ways for me to end up in a cage

Also, how are they supposed to test for it? 'Snot like they have a test for LSD consumption. It doesn't appear in urine or saliva - or even in your blood. Well, they can technically find it in tissue samples and in your urine - but the urine tests you're thinking of don't work. You need like a specialized lab and even then it's not enough to provide proof for court. When you ingest LSD, you're putting a very tiny amount into your body.

If you die, a coroner may find it in your body tissue. Even then, probably not.

I don't know how they would test but it would be obvious

It can be as obvious as the nose on your face, but it's all about what they can prove.

Just don't say, "Man, I'm tripping sack right now!"

I suppose if you're outlandish or an asshole, they could arrest you on stupid charges that there's no chance a DA picks up and takes to trial.

I've only been stopped that one time while tripping. So, I don't have any other experiences to draw on.
