Yes you did. By virtue of doing nothing, you allowed the war. By allowing the circumstances to exist, you caused the war.

The war leads to after the war, people are dumb, sometimes the only way they learn is when they are bludgeoned repeatedly

Not if you take charge and prevent it. You're the goddamned 'master' of the universe.

Think of it like a parent. You can prevent your kids from fighting. You can't prevent them from hating each other (though you can do a lot to make that true) but you can stop them from fighting - especially if you're omnipotent and omniscient as the master of the universe.
