It's got an 8 inch speaker inside. You must be looking at the wrong product.

Oh, wait... I forgot that I had linked you to that one. I only recalled mentioning that my next purchase is likely to be the Fender amp I linked.

Yeah, that looks like it'd be a fun project. I could handle it, but I'm not sure it's 'beginner' territory. Maybe 'beginner geek' territory.
