Cool, so you have a bunch of different sounds to play with

It's surprisingly loud for 5 watts. I'm really spoiled, however. So, making the amp 'good' in my head isn't working well. I think it'd frustrate me as a beginner - but not as much as every other choice for the price I paid. It was not a lot of money, and is probably a good value for what it did cost.

I'll adjust to it and play it like a motherfucker - you know, after I learn how to play guitar!

Well... They're both chordophones. So, yeah... They're pretty much the same instrument! Sound is generated by causing a string to vibrate between two points!
