Yeah, thats a sore throat guitar amp, I've got one of those, its super heavy distortion, made out of altoids boxes and old tv parts

I actually have something very similar but made by a dude that knows his shit. You can get a pretty clean tone out of it.

Yeah it has a clean mode too. I think, I havent played with it in a few years now

I think you've mentioned it before - and maybe even did a recording with it.

I also have a couple of hand-made amps. I've wanted to build my own amp for years but never took the time, but I do own some that were made by just regular geeks and not by a major company. One of them is extremely good across the entire range. It even has a few effects built in, but they're not as good as you're going to get with the right pedal.
