Video editing is not really much different than audio editing on a computer

Yeah, but keep in mind that I mostly rely on a very basic editor and rely on GIGO. I suspect it'd take months and months for me to get good with video - and that's not a statement made in the dark, it's made based on my previous experiences trying to edit video.

But, it'd be pretty fucking neat to have a YouTube channel with a few million followers.

If you had a few million youtube followers I am pretty sure you would generate more income than the linux site

Oh, fuck yeah... I could do something useful with that much money - plus those big guys get sent free gear all the time. They literally aren't buying their gear.
