It is indeed cheap. I've been through hundreds of them and have only managed to find a few that interested me. So many of 'em are just Strat clones - and not even good clones at that.

Yeah there are a whole lot of cheap strat copies out there. I have one myself

I'm pretty sure every guitar I've looked at (for this experience) has been shitty. Well, at least 'not good by my standards'. A few look like they might be playable without a bunch of work.
