They must be doing some kind of work on the network to know that they might have problems in the future

Yeah, they're doing some work. They did not deem me important enough to tell what work they're having done. I suspect the message wasn't sent to 'me', but was sent to everyone - even if they're signing out tomorrow.

So, I could probably go find out what they're doing. They gave it a full week, so it must be something big.

It would have to be something really big if they expect it to take a whole week. Possibly upgrading all the access points
