Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

It's got to be getting close to covering the server costs. How much does it cost daily to run the server?

It's about there. I'm on VERY robust hosting, with great backups and features. It's about $3.33 a day. I've got a shitload of bandwidth and enough backup space to keep incremental backups two times over what the system naturally does.

However, I can't count on the ad revenue staying the same. So, we'll have to wait and see how that goes before jumping for joy.

So, it's about there. I could have much cheaper hosting and it'd cover the hosting costs - but I want the site to be available all the time and fast.

Sell your own ads for more revenue

I survived the fireworks/gun battle. I'm still not sure what it was.

And, nobody has approached the site asking to place ads. I should probably make a page inviting people to do so.

I have no fucking clue what to charge.

Your last payment was issued on Feb 21 for $334.50.

BUT...

That goes all the way back to the tiny ad revenue made earlier on by both MFU and my old guitar blog. That was either $40 or $60 worth of ad revenue.

The rest has been generated over about the past year.

Doing the math that way looks a bit different.

There's either a shootout with lots of different caliber weapons or there's someone setting off fireworks. I'm pretty sure today is not a holiday of import and I'm pretty sure setting them off in the city is illegal. They've been going off for a good solid 5 minutes. I can't see them, but I can hear them.

The balcony doors are open. It was almost 70° today.

Hope you survived the shoot out!
