Have you ever ran into someone that you knew you would never see again in your life?

Not that I know of.

To be fair, I've met tens of thousands of people in my life - easily. Many for only the briefest of interactions - like signing my name or having them introduced to me by someone else. I've shaken more hands than a politician. I've kissed fewer babies.

I have not been introduced to anywhere near that many people. And I never run into people that I know unless they are meeting me

Oh, I've run into people I wasn't expecting to run into - but not people I never figured I'd see again.

I've run into Paul Meng, I hate the fucker's voice and refusal to shut the fuck up, in three different cities. I have also run into him at a couple of festivals.

I'd like to not run into him again, but all evidence suggests I will.
