Definitely.

Though I do know through experience that choking to death is pretty painless. Well I didn't die but I did lose consciousness. I do remember my last thought before everything went away was what a stupid way to die. But it did not hurt at all. Just fucking more and more light headed until the darkness appeared

Choking to death is on my list of shit to not do. It's up there with death by fire.
