I like to get 8 hours of sleep a day but that hardly ever happens

I've done well at sleeping since the wreck and going on sleepy meds full time.

I used to not take sleep meds 'cause you're groggy as fuck in the morning and they make you gain weight and shit like that. Plus, the various medications I tried either didn't work or worked like that.

These days, I don't give a shit if I'm groggy in the morning. It's all good. It's also worth it to get sleep.

I wake up groggy as can be for at least twenty minutes. Then I can think and function.

I usually force myself through it - by doing my guitar practice after starting my first cup of coffee. I don't like being groggy in the mornings much, but I sure as fuck like sleeping more than a few hours every few days. At this point in my life, it's worth it for the sleep I get.
