Well, no... No, it's not good. He's gonna die and it's likely gonna be soon. There's like zero chance of recovery. In fact, I don't think they're even treating him anymore. They're just drugging him up to keep 'em comfortable while waiting for the inevitable.

(I don't want there to be any misconceptions about this.)

The good news is that he's getting some time with family - and he's got a whole lot of drugs, though he's oddly not fond of liquid morphine or fentanyl. Man, when I get cancer I'm going straight for both of those things! Fuck lucidity, I'm gonna nod the fuck out until the end comes.
