Well, there are a ton of other reasons why you might be a lunatic - but liking Dilaudid is a pretty good sign of something. Dillies are fucking awesome. Hydromorphone...

Fuck, I could go for some opiates right about now. I can't do any, 'cause I might get tested, but I sure could use some.

I've been on the phone almost all goddamned day. I'm doing most of the will execution, including things like family notifications. The real family is a bit distraught and so I've been calling - and some emailing - since around 10:00.

Nobody can find his life insurance paperwork, which will slow things down. He had a 'pre-needs' account with the funeral home, so all of that is paid for. His family can't find his DD214 in his paperwork, but I know it was in the paperwork that he'd stored in my safe. He gets a flag and a vet plate for a memorial, care of the US Govt. (Me too, actually.)
