It sounds more prepared than some of your work - which makes sense, as it was you doing all the work instead of just jamming with someone.

Yeah, I know all the notes and where the changes are, still took a few takes. As I like each instrument to be one take all the way through. I can easily edit out mistakes but I just don't like to do that for some reason. I've got a footswitch that lets me do it hands free even and I have yet to even plug the footswitch in ever. There is another new song that I have been working on that must have took me twenty takes to play it just all the way through without fucking up so bad I had to stop and start over. That one wasn't even good enough. Some things are just difficult to play. At least for me!

You know... There's not much that's difficult for me anymore. There are some that are a pain in the ass - but they're not terribly difficult, just busy.

I kinda want a new challenge with the guitar. I don't really find it challenging all that often. If it challenged me, it'd bring some of the joy back.

Maybe writing your Magnum Opus would be the challenge you need
