It was, but not as fun as it sounds. Lots of skinned knuckles and crying.

Today I get to lie on the cold driveway, and change the starter. I made a cake last night so I could celebrate afterward. Tomorrow I will be playing my 1940s German stand-up bass thru my Ampeg all day, because I have the house to myself for a change.

LOL Well, you should record it and share it with us.

Also, I don't think I've ever replaced a starter and had everything go smoothly. I always at least bust a knuckle.
