Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link (fngt.gq). That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I am sure that you could get an honorary badge, like they might give to children, that you could pin on your vest!

There's some strict regulations with calling yourself a "Registered Maine Guide" or anything close to it. It's a protected name, kinda like 'engineer'. No, you can't say you're an engineer when you're not an engineer.

They're unlikely to do anything to me, but I'd know the difference. I mostly want to take the test so that I can prove my knowledge. I've learned a lot in the time I've been here. I paid good money to a guide!

They might let you take the test just to see where you are if you pay them

Probably not. It's a State agency. They're not likely to let a non-applicant sit the test.

If they did, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. I think I could pass the test, with some review.
