I've probably played at least a little bit on every guitar I own. I take 'em out to inspect them when I get them, usually tune 'em up and ensure everything is working, and then I tune it down a little for storage. So, they all technically get played at least a little.

Then, I take 'em out to show people, or to see if time has done any damage, and play 'em gently before they get put away again.

Someday my guitars will be treated like that, but not now

There are some (some of 'em even expensive) that I beat the hell out of when I play them.

I've worn pretty much completely through fretboards before. I've worn holes in guitars.
