We went to work in my sons Fusion.

Congrats on accomplishing the mission in one day like you had hoped!

Thanks! I almost changed my mind and left. When I said I'd give it another hour and a half, I was partway through my wait and kept saying, "Well, five more minutes..." Mostly, I kept wanting a smoke.

I think I drove a rented Fusion when I was in VA before I had cars there. It might have been a Focus.

Either way, they're not terrible cars. I wouldn't own one, but they're safe, reliable, and have some level of creature comfort.

It starts and runs! Got us to the job site and back!

I took my car to the Michigan border and back on Monday, and I can't take it anywhere today. Shitty

That's the most important thing - it got you there and back. Hell, it was probably fairly efficient and modestly comfortable.

And, it does indeed suck when your car doesn't work. It sucks a lot. It sucks even more if it's a car you like - otherwise you just kinda hate it even more when it breaks.
