I did see after the game a week ago that Aaron Jones had lost his fathers ashes that he had on a necklace during the game and the equipment guys all searched the field until they found it. I did not know about the pocket in his jersey, that's not going to get lost! That Red is just a little guy that sure seems to love to chat it up with folks
I like the way your area does the whole football thing. Though, it'd be nice if your stock in the team got you seats for at least one game - maybe the opening game of the season. Though, I have no idea if the numbers bear that out. They may not have enough seats for share holders!
They don't have anywhere near enough seats for the shareholders. There are a little over 360,000 shareholders and the stadium holds close to 80,000 for a game. The shareholders get to go to the shareholders meeting and buy shareholders merchandise, that's about it. Plus bragging rights. I would never have spent my money on a share but it was a gift, so I didn't really have a choice. The games are great fun to go to. Most the fans get to the stadium four hours before the game starts and gets drunk and grills some meat and eats before they go in, it's a big happy family. You can go there with no money and no ticket and just walk around talking to people and the people will feed you and get you drunk and just quite possibly get you into the game
The latter part is pretty universal at other football stadiums. Gotta tailgate and 'pre-game' with the beer, before you get inside and pay $12 a beer.
Yeah, I figured there were probably too many shareholders to fit in the stadium at once. That's not too surprising. Hmm... Discounted tickets would be a nice feature of the stock. Alas, as you said, they are mostly bragging rights.
