I own a banjo. I'm pretty sure I own three of them. I never play them. I don't really know how to play them. I can kinda fake it and an uninitiated listener would think I played banjo - but I'd have to play for a bit to get to that position. It's not something I keep practicing or fresh in my memory.

Have 'em leave it for a few weeks or a month. By the end of that, you should be able to fake it well enough. Watch a video or two, maybe. I dunno. I only watch a few videos 'cause most of them suck, but there might be some good ones for banjo. 'Snot like I've looked.
