That's what I thought. Just a typo.

They can't really afford that. Gotta save for the lean times, like when everything slows down after the tourists leave for the summer - which is pretty much this weekend. Though, amusingly, the band will be here again in two weeks - it's already scheduled.

I suppose you have it all worked out that the band has the funds to pay them through the winter. I guess if they want a raise they have to play more

If they play enough they'll make more money - in the form of bonuses.
