Yeah you don't have to worry about those kind of things at all really.

Don't get confused by the carbon ceramics you can buy for > $100, those don't really do what true carbon ceramics do. Here's the price for pads on my M6:

Well that's just ridiculous. that's the price for just one wheel, right?

Yeah, that's just a single wheel, I'm pretty sure. They were an almost $10,000 option on my M6. That's 'cheap' as it's often closer to $15k to add the option.

Now you see why people change 'em out for regular pads!
