Maybe you should cover them more. They have lots of songs that get a crowd going

It's gotta be the right sort of audience to do anything more than Under The Bridge or Californication.

We mostly want songs they already know. We hardly ever introduce people to new music, so we're limited to what gets/got the most radio play in the era(s) we're targeting.
